Yesterday, room 22 went to Waimarama Beach. WE learnt lots  of new things like water  safety,using the equipment and the    I RB. What I liked the most was 

   when we played beach games and

       went in the tower. When we were 

       learning about the safety rules, I

        found it really interesting because there 

       were some things that I didn't know.

Art-Scraffitto Healthy Bodies, Strong Minds

For Art, Room 22 have been doing Scraffitto Art. We had to  make a silhouette out of newspaper  of a healthy body shape. Colour in a white piece with all different colours of pastel. Paint black tempura paint over the colours, wait for it to dry and scratch your newspaper silhouette onto it. My art is a swimmer about to dive in the water.

Create and practice a household emergency plan
Assemble and maintain emergency survival items The  GET READY GET THRU website says that in our Emergency Kit we need a torch with spare batteries. At Electronics I am going to design and make an Emergency Light for myself.
